Lord Ganesha HD Images and History: One day Mata Parvati was going to take a bath. Mata wanted someone to stand up for her safety when she took a bath. So they took a little turmeric mixture that was made for bathing. Mother gave life to that turmeric mixture.

When the mother came back after bathing and seeing her dead son, she started to groan with grief. Seeing Mata Parvati in mourning, Lord Shankar sent her messengers to bring head. The messengers found the elephant, so they brought the elephant head.
